Act). These GTC are to be considered and treated as general contract terms as referred to in Section 6:77 of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (hereinafter: Civil Code).
Establishment of the Engagement By utilizing the legal services, Clients establish an attorney-client relationship with Dr. Beatrix Bóné, Attorney. The Attorney provides legal services in all cases in exchange for the payment of a legal fee. Based on the facts presented, the Attorney performs the task with legal proficiency, primarily taking into account the Client's representations of the facts.
In matters requiring document drafting, legal countersignature, and legal representation in real estate registry procedures, the engagement is initiated through contract formation via telephone or e-mail, provided that the engagement is formalized in writing prior to the countersignature. If the client requires other legal services (e.g., additional legal advice), the engagement is established once the Attorney confirms it electronically.
The Attorney identifies Clients as necessary, in accordance with the Act on the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (AML Act), the Att. Act, and the internal regulations of the Hungarian Bar Association.
The Attorney excludes liability for confirmation if the confirmation does not reach the Client because the Client provided an incorrect e-mail address, or cannot receive messages due to the storage capacity of the account being full, or if the Attorney's message is classified as spam due to storage settings.
Electronic Legal Services Attorney engagements performed by the Attorney that do not require document drafting, in particular, but not limited to, legal advice (hereinafter collectively: Electronic Legal Services), may also be concluded through electronic contracting. In this case, the legal service qualifies as an information society service under Section 2, point 11 of Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services. The electronic contract is concluded electronically by the Client and the Attorney by filling out the electronic order form.
If, following the use of Electronic Legal Services, the Client provides a further engagement to the Attorney, that shall no longer qualify as an Electronic Legal Service.

Legal services requiring personal appearance are provided at the Attorney's office at a pre-arranged time.
If the performance of the legal activity includes the countersignature of a document (e.g., a sale and purchase agreement) where a contracting party (seller, usufructuary seller) has not engaged the drafting attorney for the specific matter, the drafting attorney is obliged to inform this party in writing before the signing of the document that the countersignature does not create an engagement relationship with the drafting attorney. If the contracting party acts with legal representation, this notification may be omitted.
Legal Fees The currently applicable legal fees payable for the services provided by the Attorney and their due dates, detailed by service, are available by clicking here. All fees indicated on the website are gross fees. Should the Client order additional legal services from the Attorney during the performance of the engagement, whether via e-mail, orally, or by telephone, the fees for such additional services shall be determined according to the currently effective fee schedule.
If a transaction requiring document drafting and countersignature fails before the signing of the contract, the Attorney is entitled to a fee in proportion to the services already performed instead of the agreed engagement fee. This corresponds to an amount of gross HUF 20,000 per hour for every hour of work performed, which the Client is obliged to pay within 8 days following the Attorney's request for payment, which includes an invoice or a proforma invoice.
If a service manifesting in legal advice fails—because the Client does not cancel the pre-booked consultation appointment by 4:00 PM on the preceding working day at the latest—the Client is obliged to pay a one-time gross penalty of HUF 15,000 within 8 days following the Attorney's request for payment. The Client is entitled to request a later appointment instead of the pre-arranged time free of charge at any time.
Pursuant to Section 10.6/B. f) of the Hungarian Bar Association (MÜK) Regulation 6/2018 (III. 26.) on the ethical rules and expectations of the legal profession, at the time the engagement is established, no deviation from the fee information published on the website may be made to the detriment of the client. If the Client fails to meet their payment obligation by the deadline, the Attorney shall be entitled to default interest under the Civil Code.
Invoicing and Due Date of the Engagement Fee The Client can settle the invoice issued by the Attorney via bank transfer in matters requiring document drafting after the signing of the contract, or may pay in cash on-site upon request. In all cases, the Attorney issues an invoice for the engagement fee, which is sent via e-mail to the address provided by the Client. If the Client requests a paper-based invoice, they must indicate this during the payment process prior to the issuance of the invoice. Failing such notification, the Client expressly consents to downloading the invoice from the relevant e-mail.
Following prior coordination, the Client may also pay in EUR, GBP, or USD, provided that the official exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB) on the date of invoice issuance shall apply for the conversion of the engagement fee.
Payment of Fees for Electronic Legal Services In the case of Electronic Legal Services, the Attorney is entitled to condition the appointment booking on partial or full prepayment of the engagement fee. The Attorney provides information on these services through the appointment booking systems. The legal fee in such cases is also identical to the gross fee indicated on the website.

If the Client confirms the booking in an e-mail sent by the Attorney combined with online credit card payment, the Client has 3 hours to pay the legal fee; failing this, the Attorney shall cancel the booking.
